To avoid fines when travelling in France, please note:
The “Loi macron”, which newly regulates trips in terms of the minimum wage, came into force in France on the 1st July 2016.
As of the 23rd July 2016, truck and bus drivers employed by foreign companies that operate either cabotage in France or international transport to and from France must produce a ‘posting’ certificate during inspections. Transit operations are exempt.
Additionally, the foreign companies must appoint a French representative to deal with the French supervisory authorities and take care of the provision of the required documents.
UTA is working with one of the leading French companies in this field that represents our customers in all aspects of this new regulation in France. Please contact us for further details and for our assistance in the formalities.
